An easy-to-find rural camp at Saltwater Creek just south of Timaru. The grounds are level, with easy access to all sites, which are landscaped with trees and shrubs. An attractive kidney-shaped pool is set in a fenced enclosure. The all-in-one service block is clean, bright and attractive. The kitchen is a beauty, and adjoins a T.V lounge that overlooks the children's playground and free BBQ. The ablutions are functional and very clean including a disability/family unit. The laundry has automatic equipment. Of the 110 sites here, 70 have power and there are now 50 unpowered sites, with water on site. There is a dump point. A camp store offers basic requirements.
